Describing Date and Time Part Two:
Expressing year, month, day and week.
The year is expressed by reading digit by digit, then add 'nian2年‘.
eg: 一九九八年, 二00二年, 二000年。
The month is expressed by the number 1-12, then add 'yue4月'. eg: 一月January; 二月 Feburary; 三月 March....
十二月 December
The day is expressed by the number 1-31, then add 'ri4日 or hao4 号' eg: 二十号, 八号,十三号...
There are seven days in a week. Monday through Saturday is expressed by 'xīngqī星期', then add number one to six; Sunday is special and is xīngqī ri4星期日 or xīngqī tian1 星期天。eg: 星期一, 星期二,星期六, 星期日
The order of the time expression is from big to small:
年+月+日/号+星期+上午
二00二年七月二十七号 星期五
